COLLABORATION
The Association understands
the concept of collaboration as being a fundamental duty as regards to
the historic debt of a wealthy western world towards the poorer nations.
We do not intend to see the
projects as donations, or worse still, as charity.
They must be of mutual benefit
and work in collaboration, in a relationship of absolute equality.
La Primogenita International
Adoption, in keeping with its Articles of Association, has accepted this
primary duty and does all it can in developing and needy areas, to
foster co-operation.
The commitments of the
Association have led to the actual execution of various undertakings,
such as long-distance adoptions, first aid assistance (food, clothing,
medicines, etc.) to more demanding projects, vis-à-vis human and
financial resources, such as health care facilities, homes for the
needy, schools, professional training etc.
All
the financial resources are used for this purpose
Following this information,
it is right to mention that La Primogenita International Adoption is,
financially, totally autonomous.
Resources come from:
associates’ membership fees, donations, gifts, bequests and
self-financing from various activities (theatre works, sports events,
sale of craftworks, etc.).
Below are some of the
